Privacy policy

This page describes what Kilifi Machinery & Spares actually collects when you buy something, ask for a quote or book a repair — nothing more.

What we collect

Your name, phone number, county, delivery address, your order history, and anything you tell us in a quote or a service enquiry. Phone numbers are stored in the international 254… form, the same form we use to reach you on WhatsApp and M-Pesa.

Why we collect it

To deliver an order, to answer a quote, or to arrange a repair — that is the whole reason any of it is asked for.

Payments

Payment is by M-Pesa, through Safaricom's Daraja API. We send the payment prompt to your phone and Safaricom tells us directly whether it was paid. We do not collect or store your card details at any point — there is no card form anywhere on this site, because every payment goes through M-Pesa.

Messaging you

We do not message anyone who has not asked to hear from us. If you join our WhatsApp or email list, we record the moment you agreed to it. Reply STOP at any time and you are removed.

Who we share it with

Safaricom, to process your M-Pesa payment, and whoever delivers your order to you. Nobody else. We do not sell your details to anyone.

How long we keep it

We have not yet fixed a set retention period for this data. If you would like to know what we hold, or want it removed, ask us — see below.
